I recently saw it climb up the Steam charts, with the latest figure topping 500K copies sold. That caught my eye. But more than raw popularity, I was intrigued by the idea of a game with a bit of Terraria

The combat could use some love, as well as the loot that drops from these combat encounters. Armour and weapons should feel more interesting to find, and the balance needs a fair bit of work to not feel jarring.

Start digging through the walls around you, aiming for any shiny stuff. This will get you some dirt and ore, so craft your furnace at the workbench. That allows you to melt the copper ore to upgrade your pickaxe and craft a sword to take care of some of the slimes you might see nearby.

Another beautiful week has gone by and things have been as busy as ever with the Core Keeper community! After playing many games like this which have a better storage/crafting system, it's really hard to play this game tbh

There is armor in this game, but I never felt excited to find a new armor. You would get a higher hp value, a higher armor value, maybe a slight damage increase and occasionally it would be a 2-3-4item set that was often not even worth using. I would often find weapons and armor that were clearly a massive jump in player strength, but only in a numbers sense. This is all to say, the weapon and armor progression feels too disjointed and is not something that I looked forward to due to the boring nature of these "upgrades".

Missed a seasonal event? Don't worry! You don't have to wait all year for it to come around again. You can activate any seasonal event at any time of year by toggling them in the Gameplay Settings menu. You can switch them off entirely too, if they're not your thing.

Vending Machine sell consumable items that apply buffs that stack with the same ones from cooked food dishes.

While we cannot personally respond to each individual report, we do read every single one and we are spending a lot of time investigating issues and working on patches to address these.

Wood Pickaxe helps mine the soft dirt biome walls more quickly. All walls can be slowly broken by punching continuously (except obsidian).

Aside from selling supplies, the Bearded Merchant sells items that can be used to re-summon certain bosses such as all giant slimes and Ghorm; you simply need to purchase these items and place them on the boss' rune to get them to reappear. Feel free to farm the bosses for fun and profit if you want!
